Wastewater Laboratory for High School Students

Before you download the Sewer Science materials and duplicate the program you must read the following statement and click on the "agree" button.

No one should handle activated sludge or perform the Ammonia Analysis or the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) Analysis in this program unless they have first read the Health and Safety instructions for safe handling and waste disposal, and understand the potential hazards involved. The City of Palo Alto has provided this Sewer Science Laboratory as a public service, and makes no warranty, express or implied, and assumes no legal liability or responsibility for any use of whatever nature of the Sewer Science Laboratory. Although following the Health and Safety instructions should prevent any possible safety or health problems, you assume the liability for the use of any of the materials described in the Sewer Science Laboratory.
